GP Rating is a 6-month pre-sea training program approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. The course provides structured theoretical and practical instruction in General Ship Knowledge (GSK) and Marine Engineering Knowledge (MEK), allowing successful candidates to join merchant ships as Ratings in either the Deck or Engine departments.

The Basic STCW Safety Training (BST) course is an essential 11-day program mandatory for all seafarers seeking an Indian Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC). The course covers four basic safety modular programs: Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF), Elementary First Aid (EFA), Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR), and Personal Survival Techniques (PST), ensuring readiness for onboard emergencies.
